Abstract
Abstract: Aiming at the lack of information architecture is not fit to the demands of users, resulting in the feedback of a great deal of useless information, we present the new model information architecture based on topic maps. We define the framework, which includes four stages: Data mining, Information table, Visual structure and Views. Data mining is performed to obtain the topics and the associations between topics, and information table is defined to record them by using Distributed Hash Table. Visual structure includes information recommendation, information navigation and information retrieval, which main objective is to search information, which users really need. The results of visual structure will be displayed based on Topic map. A prototype system of visual information architecture has been implemented and applied to the massive information organization, management and service for education.
